The big horn sheep were literally a roadside attraction. The roadside herds grew as the cold weather drove the sheep down to the lower terrain. In subzero temps covered with ice and snow, grazing is slow and methodical. For photographers, it offered an up close and personal photo op. And I took advantage of the opportunity.
